An Independent Evangelical Church in the Anglican Tradition

Christchurch Guernsey are a small, and in God’s grace, growing Christian Community that meets regularly, in Torteval, for worship, prayer, teaching and fellowship.

Established by the call of God, we are convinced that we will grow quickly into a vibrant church serving the needs of God’s people on Guernsey.

Our passion is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the salvation it brings to all who currently stand under the judgement of God.

As we are small, and while we grow to a size able to support our own minister, we have established a Mission Partnership with Christchurch Durham, a leading independent Conservative Evangelical church. We join with them each Sunday, by zoom on a 52-inch screen, and participate in their Morning Service, with its bold and clear Christian message.

We believe in the absolute and total Sovereignty of God over all matters; big and small.

We hold that The Holy Bible is Inerrant; without fault, blemish or inaccuracy.

We subscribe to and uphold the Views and Beliefs set out in the GAFCON Jerusalem Declaration 2008.

We believe and affirm that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever. He is our only Saviour from sin, judgement and hell, who lived the life we could not live and died the death we deserve. By his atoning death and glorious resurrection, he secured the redemption of all who come to Him in repentance and faith.

This message is the same now as it was two thousand years ago. The requirements, commitment, and sacrifice that come with faith in the risen Lord Jesus Christ do not change in line with culture and fashion.

We encourage all who join us to take out individual GAFCON membership. In due time Christchurch Guernsey intend to join the GAFCON Family through an application for membership of AMiE.
